If we take a quick look at my bucket list, one of the earlier ones is #11 take a moped trip across the USA.
This is one of the more adventurous Items on the list. The plan for this one started back in Americorps as summer trip to plan to help pass the time. Originally it was gonna be me and and Zander, a skinny white artisitic rebel from upstate New York. However, unfortunately Zander was unable to procure funds for such a trip, so I was left without a travel companion for the trip.
Not one to be deterred, I switched my ride to a motorcycle and planned out a rough draft of a solo cross country motorcycle trip that would hit many of the unique sights and sounds that this large country has to offer, as well as reunite me with some long lost AmeriCorps friends.
After months of planning, gathering supplies and saving money.... I leave tomorrow for my cross country adventure of 2011.
