On my way up to Madison to visit my oldest sister, she informed me that she was going to help me accomplish one of the things on my bucket list, but alas, she would not tell me what it was going to be.
I was allowed three guesses, all of which I promptly got wrong,
All I could do at this point was cross my fingers and hope that I wasn't going to be set on fire just yet.
My sister surprised me by taking me to a stained glass workshop. I spent two hours working on the basics of how to make stained glass using copper foil and some solder and even made an ornament myself. Its not to hard and it looks really good.
I would like to learn a bit more especially how to cut glass, but its definitely a push to get me started.
I hated doing stained glass in art class (teehee, rhyme), it's not terribly hard to do but it's real easy to break the glass and to burn and cut yourself with the solder gun and the glass. Despite being success in the end I hated the project so much I didn't even want to keep the finished piece. (I gave it to my then girlfriend.)
